Here’s what’s new in Blink Version 1.0.1 release March 2022.

New Updates

Huawei Appgallery Support: Blink now supports apps on Huawei AppGallery.
Login with Phone Number: Now app users can log in with their phone number using the same number at registration. This is more useful and convenient, especially if users don’t want to remember passwords or type a long email address every time they log in.
Ratings on App Store: App ratings are now available on iOS & Android apps. Store ratings pop up appears when:

  1. An order is placed
  2. An order is rated 4 or above

Helps the brand is generating positive app ratings on App/Play store

New Features

Bar-code Image Fetch: Name images with a bar-code or item code and they will be automatically fetched from the image gallery upon upload.
Free Delivery on Specific Order Value: Delivery charges will now be automatically waived at a pre-set order value.
WhatsApp Link in iOS: A WhatsApp chat clickable link is now available in the contact us section on iOS App – many users find support through WhatsApp chat more convenient. This feature is already available for Android OS.
Header Notice/Alerts: Emergency header notices/alerts can now be activated for any specific branch e.g “It’s raining your orders might get delayed”.
Brand Specific Promotions: (Grocery Only) The latest Brand-Specific functionality on your website includes

  1. Linking homepage promotional banner with a specific brand
  2. Marking product/item with the specific brand while uploading a new item
  3. Each brand has a separate website URL

Bulk Image Upload: Vendors can now upload up to 1000 images simultaneously on their Blink portal’s image gallery.
Promo Codes: Vendors can now create promo codes specific to the web or mobile apps.
App Links Field: Vendors can change app download links (on the website) from within the portal. Find a field added in Blink Portal – Settings > Vendor Configurations > Google Play/Apple App Store Links.
3rd Party Integrations Section: Easier to manage 3rd Party Integrations with a dedicated section on Blink Portal.
Category Wise Toggle Option: (For Grocery) Now vendors can configure (show/remove) the category and sub-sub categories via the Blink portal in the Branch wise toggle. Available toggle options are – item toggle, section toggle & sub-option toggle.
